Today, our law enforcement family is heartbroken. Three police officers in York County lost their lives in the line of duty, and two more are fighting to recover after being gravely wounded. We extend our deepest sympathy to the families of those killed, and our prayers are with the officers who are injured as they receive medical care.

These brave men and women put on the uniform knowing the dangers they face — defending our communities, upholding the law, and seeking justice. Their sacrifice is profound, and their courage will never be forgotten.
